12 projects of more than 10 MEUR approved in the 2nd call for proposals
The Steering Committee of the South Baltic Cross-border Co-operation Programme 2007 -2013 held a meeting in Kalmar on 6 - 7 April 2009 and decided to approve 12 projects amounting to 10,407,380.63 EUR (ERDF co-financing) in the framework of the 2nd call for proposals.

Second match meeting of the South Baltic Programme - mark the dates in your calendar
The second match meeting of the South Baltic Programme will take place on 16 – 17 June 2009 in Bornholm, Denmark. The meeting is related to the third call for proposals of the Programme which will be held from 15 July until 30 September 2009.

South Baltic Programme closes the 2nd call for proposals
The 2nd call of the South Baltic Cross-border Co-operation Programme opened on 20 October 2008 was closed on 9 January 2009. The JTS received 22 project applications. Altogether total budget of received project applications amounted to almost 23 MEUR (total co-financing of ERDF was 18,28 MEUR).

South Baltic Programme is looking for project assessors
The South Baltic Programme is looking for independent experts from Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, and other EU countries to support the quality assessment of project applications that will be submitted to the Programme between 2009-2012.

Match meeting in Swinoujscie - HIGH QUALITY PROJECTS WANTED!
An event for potential beneficiaries of the South Baltic Cross-border Cooperation Programme took place on 11 September in Swinoujscie/Poland. 130 participants from Germany, Poland, Sweden, Denmark and Lithuania representing regional and local authorities, NGOs, universities and other actors in the South Baltic area gathered together to discuss pipe-line projects, find project partners and develop projects ideas in line with the South Baltic Programme priorities.

Cross border Co-operation Programme Lithuania-Poland: call for an external expert-engineer
The Cross border Co-operation Programme Lithuania-Poland is launching a call for an external expert-engineer to identify and select qualified and experienced professionals – both individuals and legal entities, to perform assessment of the Polish technical documentation related to applications submitted in calls for proposals and also to advise on changes related to technical documentation in already approved projects under the Programme.
