After more than three years of intensive work, the ELMOS project ended on 30 April 2015. With its completion, the project website was updated with all important materials that were elaborated within the project.
The project ELMOS aimed at promoting the use of electric mobility good practices from small & medium sized towns & cities located in the South Baltic Area. In this way, the project contributed to the regional development aims of reduced C02 emissions and improved urban living conditions. The overall idea of the project was to develop and partly introduce electric mobility in the five participating municipalities: Karlskrona, Malbork, Rostock, Trąbki Wielkie and Växjö.
One of the main results of the project is now available for public use. Electric mobility handbooks, drafted in four languages (English, German, Polish, Swedish) and country-specific versions, focus on the most significant lessons learned in the course of ELMOS. Reaching from pedelec rental solutions to innovative car pooling solutions for electric cars, the tested models have proven to serve as successful models for the promotion of electric mobility in small and medium-sized towns and cities. Hence, please feel invited to learn more about the experiences gained by the ELMOS partnership.
The handbooks are available here.
