Third Match Meeting of the South Baltic Programme - mark the dates in your calendar
The third Match Meeting of the South Baltic Programme will take place on 16 – 17 June 2010 in Palanga, Lithuania.

The Match Meeting is organized for gathering relevant actors from regional and local authorities, NGOs, universities and other organizations interested in the South Baltic cooperation. The aim of the meeting is to discuss and develop project ideas and pipe-line projects, find project partners and receive practical information about the South Baltic Programme. It is planned that the meeting will gather about 150 participants who will be divided into targeted workshops on the Programme measures. Some specific workshops are planned focusing on particular topics such as labour market, twin cities co-operation and networking. The agenda will also include interactive matchmaking activities as well practical tips for potential applicants and the exchange of project ideas in the Project Bazaar.

Organizers hope that this year’s location of the Match Meeting in Palanga will illustrate the uniqueness of the South Baltic region. Being one of the most attended resorts in this area, Palanga managed to retain its identity and not to lose its originality in the tourist stream keeping romantic maritime atmosphere. Palanga can be easily reached by ferry from Sassnitz, Karlshamn and Kiel as well as by plane from Copenhagen, Riga and Oslo.

More information about the meeting as well as all related documents can be find here.
