The amended General Principles on the First Level Control of the South Baltic Cross-border Co-operation Programme 2007-2013 were approved on 17 December 2009!
The new version of the General Principles on the First Level Control is published by the South Baltic Cross-border Co-operation Programme 2007-2013.

The Call for Capacity Building Project of the South Baltic Cross-border Co-operation Programme 2007-2013 was opened from 18 September 2009 till 16 November 2009. The Joint Technical Secretariat received 2 applications.

Second Match Meeting of the South Baltic Programme - MATCHING PEOPLE, PROJECT IDEAS AND DIFFERENT REGIONS IN THE ATTRACTIVE ISLAND OF BORNHOLM
The second Match Meeting of the South Baltic Programme took place in Bornholm on 16-17 June 2009. More than 100 participants from different EU countries gathered together to discuss and develop pipe-line projects, find project partners and receive practical information about the South Baltic Programme and the upcoming calls for proposals (third call: 15 July – 30 September 2009 and fourth call: 1 April 2010 - 21 May 2010).

12 projects of more than 10 MEUR approved in the 2nd call for proposals
The Steering Committee of the South Baltic Cross-border Co-operation Programme 2007 -2013 held a meeting in Kalmar on 6 - 7 April 2009 and decided to approve 12 projects amounting to 10,407,380.63 EUR (ERDF co-financing) in the framework of the 2nd call for proposals.

South Baltic Programme closes the 2nd call for proposals
The 2nd call of the South Baltic Cross-border Co-operation Programme opened on 20 October 2008 was closed on 9 January 2009. The JTS received 22 project applications. Altogether total budget of received project applications amounted to almost 23 MEUR (total co-financing of ERDF was 18,28 MEUR).
